Writing focus

A useful review identifies what you experienced, gives concrete positives or limitations, and explains who might benefit. Separate personal preference from an objective fact. A balanced review does not require inventing a criticism; it requires accurate details and a recommendation that follows from them.

Model writing

I attended a beginner writing workshop last week. The tutor explained sentence structure clearly and gave us time to practise. I especially liked the email task because I could use it at work. The session felt a little short for me, but the worksheet helped me continue at home. I would recommend the workshop to new learners who want practical writing practice.

Common mistakes
